WHO IS SILV33YON?

hilman (stylised Hylman) sam, who goes by SILV33YON online, is an aspiring fashion editor who is currently a student at Curtin University, majoring in Journalism and Marketing. his goal is to work for Highsnobiety or GQ as these were magazines that inspired him to dive into the world of fashion, media and culture.

born and raised in singapore, his sense of style is excessive and unpredictable, a juxtaposition to his real-life persona: introverted and quiet. he established ARCHIV SAVANT to document and narrate his thoughts on the people he crosses paths with based on what they wear, while sharing their story. through ARCHIV SAVANT, he learns and absorbs the information from his experiences and shares them with others.

his previous experience in Apparel Design and Product Development after a brief stint at Singapore's Taf.tc has further enabled him to understand more about the process of pattern making, allowing him to appreciate the technicality and tenacity of fashion designers through storytelling - he makes conversation with individuals, friends or strangers alike, about their life story, style, inspirations and goals in life.

his inspirations within and outside the fashion world are plentiful - Balmain's Olivier Rousteing, online personalities Bloodyosiris and Iman Gadzhi, fashion designer Val Kristopher, automobile founder Enzo Ferrari and philosophers Marcus Aurelius and Ibn Sina (Avicenna) are some of the inspirations he looks to for ideas and examples.
